So I realize that this blog has basically become a brag and less blog. Too many news clippings, published work, etc. and while it’s all great and I’ve had an excellent year and feel incredibly fortunate – amidst all of the book campaigning I have had time to shoot (!) and wanted to share some of the recent work from the last few months.

Sunset on classic view of El Capitan, Yosemite National Park, California

Tents aglow in Curry Village, Yosemite National Park, California

Valles Caldera, bordering Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico

Brian Murphy, world record athlete, paddle boarding in Southern California

A friend of mine forwarded a link to your blog. Awesome pictures of Yosemite. Keep up the good work.
thanks!
Love your work! Plan to catch a book event in Palm Springs and have sent a link to your site to photographer friends. Struck by your immense subjects and the tiny figure ‘man’ is when represented against their grandness (sky, mountains, wheat, the sea, etc.). Wishing some might be labeled to inform geographically, at least by continent! Were some of the blue waters and rock photos taken in Iceland? Reminded me of their surreal feel when I’ve been there. Onward! A photographic-editor & new follower.
Thanks! Appreciate the note. No Iceland photos – I haven’t been there yet. I’m guessing it’s either Yosemite or Glacier National Park, Montana that you saw the blue waters in. I’ll be sure to put up captions soon, great suggestion, thanks!
