While working on one of my first major photography/motion picture projects in the Channel Islands in California, I took an afternoon swim in a kelp forest with my Canon 5D and underwater housing and spent 30-minutes dancing along the open ocean with this beautiful jellyfish. I managed to get a variety of fun images of these alien-looking creatures.
Jellies are so cool and this is a great shot. I like all the fine detail and the bit of pink running through the center veins is amazing.
