While photographing in the Wisconsin “north country,” I stopped to photograph a logger who was deep in the woods hand-cutting premium grade timber. While not often considered a renewable resource – the logging industry of the 21st century has become exactly that. I personally am drawn to this photo for it’s lighting, anonymous composition and strong features of the wood chips and logger’s arms.
